Tomáš Hulík

Wildlife photographer



"Born in Prague in 1976. He graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the Comenius University, Environmental Department in Bratislava. He founded and managed the organization of science LENS. He participated in the scientific and photographic expeditions to the Far East of Russia, on the island of Sakhalin, in Borneo and Malaysia, South Korea, Indonesia, Mongolia and Kenya. He presented on world zoological congresses and published on the life of beavers.  He work well in environments such as
a television either as a director, a cameraman or as a producer. He filmed several movies about beavers which were aired on channels as ORF, ZDF, ARTE and Discovery Channel. The film High Tatras Wilderness frozen in Time made for austrian channel ORF was completed in 2007. From 2008 he was filming and working on the project featuring The Lynx Liaison (Návrat rysov) for televisions STV (Slovak National Channel), ORF, NDR, and the Ministry of Environment. 2011 - his last film Accross Slovakia (Cesty Slovenskom) celebrates the beauties of Slovakia. 2015 finished two new films King of Heaven – Golden Eagle, Wild Slovakia and participated like a wildlife cameraman on film Expdetion into Reed – Neusiedlersee National Park. His photographic development is largely devoted to nature, especially animal kingdom, but it is neither foreign to work on reportage for example as the tsunami in Banda Aceh on Sumatra in 2005. He publishe in the prestigious magazine National Geographic (CZ), GEO (SK), Wildlife (GB), Universum (AT) and many other magazines in Slovakia and Czech Republic. His great hobby is the current fine art and photographic passion for travel and search under the appropriate themes or animals that would pose before the camera lens. "
